INTRAMURALS

Boys Intramurals today

Please make sure you bring PE gear.Intramurals are starting up this week @ lunch hour from 12-12:30pm    Monday Grade 7, Tues -Girls, Wed-Boys, Thurs Grade 8, Friday grade 9. To participate you must be wearing proper gear!

ICE HOCKEY

Forms and payment must be passed into Ms. Newton before you can play.  Students will be dismissed at 2pm for 3pm games. Gear can be brought in the morning to be stored for the game afterschool if necessary.

BADMINTON

Badminton club has been cancelled until January

BAND

No morning band rehearsals this week.

Afterschool Jazz bands are also finished until the New Year.

Bedford Jazz Voices

A new “All City” choir here in Bedford.  Auditions are open to all Grade 9-12 students to be held Wednesday, January 7th.

CLUBS

  • Dance club – Thursday in the dance studio. It’s not too late to join. We will be dancing to Christmas and Holiday music this week. Anyone can participate

GRADE 9 TRIP

A reminder to grade 9 students going on the Quebec trip that your first payment is now overdue. Payments can be given to Ms. Snow or Mrs. Olsen.

MARTOCK SKI CLUB

All inquiries can be forwarded to newtonj@hrsb.ca.

Any members of the Martock Ski Club who did not attend the mandatory meeting yesterday need to see Ms. Newton ASAP. Also they will need to attend a meeting Thursday at lunch.

The Ski/Snowboard club is now full.  Please see Ms. Newton to be put on a waitlist.

BREATHING SPACE YOGA CLUB

OTHER

There will be a Battle of the books meeting today at lunchtime.  The library will be closed to other students for the first half of lunch.

Any students who ordered things from the scholastic book fair can pick them up in the library.

GIRLS A

Reminder to members of the Girls (A) basketball team, they need to get their tournament fee into Ms. Newton in order to participate in the Sackville Tournament today and in order to receive a Jersey. The fee is $12.50

We collected 32 boxes of food for the food bank and cash donations of $168.  Thanks Rocky Lake Junior High for stepping up to help others.
